If your enhancements begin to lift, do not pick or pull at them as this will only make the problem worse and can cause damage to the natural nail plate.

Do not attempt to repair any breaks or lifting with Super Glue as this will increase the risk of infection.

Bacterial Infection is usually caused by water and pathogens getting between the natural nail plate and enhancement. This is why they MUST be cared for in the correct way.

Condition and length of Natural Nails

If your natural nails are in good condition then you can just have them overlayed with the acrylic product for extra strength, protection and cosmetic appearance.

Short or Bitten Nails, will have tips applied for length, then overlayed with the acrylic product. If your nails are naturally short then you should begin with shorter nail enhancements so you can become accustomed to them over a period of time. Excessive length will be one of the main reasons of your enhancements breaking.
